Absentee Ballot Request Form

  1. Chisago Lakes Lake Improvement District (LID)

    The Chisago Lakes Lake Improvement District (LID) is holding an election for one (1) Area 5 and one (1) Area 7 (At Large) Board of Directors positions.

  2. Absentee ballots are available to any eligible voter requesting one. Eligible voters include all of the property owners residing in the Chisago Lakes Lake Improvement District. Each property owner, including owners of more than one property, is entitled to one vote. Property owner’s names must be identified on Chisago County property tax records as owners of property. The list of property owners residing in the District will be updated from the Chisago County records within 30 days of an election.

  3. Absentee ballots must be delivered to the Chisago County Government Center, Environmental Services Office, 313 N Main St, Suite 240, Center City, MN 55012 by 5:30 p.m. February 1st, the day of the Annual Meeting. Absentee ballots received after 5:30 p.m. are void and will not be counted.

  4. To receive an absentee ballot, please fill out the required Absentee Ballot Request Form below, or contact Jerry Spetzman, LID Administrator, 651-213-8383, jerry.spetzman@chisagocounty.us. In order to receive and return an absentee ballot by US mail it is recommended your request be received by January 25, 2021. Absentee ballots may be returned in person up to 5:30 p.m. on the day of the election.
